While Jo is a writer at a performing arts centre, Alice is a cellist. Jo revisits the past, recalling her arrival at Silver Creek where she first met Alice.

Jo takes part in a night raid on Yellow House. Her parents have been informed. Jo is forced to come clean to her mother, Caroline, about the transgressions under her belt.

Red House is reunited at the funeral of Emma. Jo confronts Alice, and Alice responds with rage. Jo debriefs with Ruby, but things are complicated – Saskia is hurt and withdrawn.

Jo rallies the girls into standing up to Portia but is the first to renege to steal alcohol. When the theft is discovered, Jo lands in the principal’s office.
