Friday Night Lights

Local news crews capitalise on the buzz and expectations surrounding Dillon's Panthers by documenting the pre-season, focusing on new head coach Eric Taylor and the team's star players.

The town of Dillon looks to Coach Taylor for hope and with doubt once they learn that Jason Street will never walk again. The Boosters try to dictate how Coach will play his team.

In their first game without Street, the team loses. Coach Taylor is met by the angry mob of parents and boosters. Saracen overhears Buddy Garrity tell Coach to move on this Voodoo kid.

During a house party, new star QB recruit Voodoo and Smash's egos conflict, and they get into a fight. Meanwhile, Lyla and Riggins continue their secret affair.

Tensions rise as the town wonders which QB Coach Taylor is going to start in the rival week game- Voodoo or Saracen. Meanwhile, Street begins to feel more optimistic about life.
