When weatherman Clark Forrest and his new on-air ASL interpreter Floyd Smernitch strike up a friendship, they quickly discover that both of their marriages have stalled.

After meeting at the cornhole party, Clark quickly hits it off with Floyd's wife Carol. Later, detectives Homer and Plumb dig deeper into Clark's relationship with Carol.

Detective Plumb begins to suspect that Carol might be hiding key details about her affair. Clark sheds light on his friendship with Floyd.

Eager to please, Clark ramps up his support for Floyd's health and financial wellness, while Carol makes her lover swear to secrecy.
