Best friends Evie and Noa have watched films together since they met at university. Eight years on, Evie can’t cope with leaving the house, so Film Club’s moved to her mum’s garage.

Noa attends an intimidating taster day for his new job in Bristol and worries that he’s out of his depth – until he makes an unexpected connection with somebody.

Evie’s still reeling from the message she saw on Noa’s phone at last night’s Film Club – but he has no idea why she’s behaving so strangely towards him. Suz is also feeling out of sorts.

Burying her feelings, which surfaced with Noa, Evie instead throws herself headlong into life. With no idea what’s behind it all, Suz and Josh worry it’s too much too soon.

Her world rocked by her encounter with Noa at last night’s Film Club, Evie has retreated to the safety of the garage. Noa is equally devastated and hiding out in his room.
